Basillia Barnaby-Cuff is an award-winning Jamaican media personality with over 17 years of experience across radio, television and digital media.
Basillia has built a dynamic career as a radio host, television presenter, news reporter, actor and content creator, connecting with audiences across traditional and digital platforms.
Her work has earned her national recognition, including Jamaica’s Prime Minister’s Youth Award for Excellence in Journalism and a Governor General “I Believe” Ambassador.

Songs released between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 are eligible for the 2026 awards show.
A confidential Sterling Committee made up of gospel music industry experts in various fields, will meet to decide on eligible entries in select categories, based on the S.G.M.A.’s Criteria.
Other categories will be open to the public for first round nominations. After this is complete, the top nominees in each category will move on to round two, for final voting.
S.G.M.A.’s Sterling Committee, is the official voting body for select categories.

Four areas.
Lyrics: assessed for originality, creativity, marketability, appeal, and value.
Musicianship: the quality of musical performance and skill.
Arrangement: how the song is structured and produced.
Popularity: how widely it has been received by listeners.
The artiste must be a practising Christian, and the lyrics must reflect the beliefs and foundation of Christianity.
Yes. The song must have been released during the stipulated Eligibility Period, and it must receive frequent radio rotation.
